CERTIFIED NANOTECH & CLEAN TECH PROFESSIONAL (CNCP)
8-Week advanced training programs for engineers, scientists, technical and business managers to prepared for senior level of responsibilities in technology and business development in the emerging field of nanotechnology and applications in clean energy. Group project management and hands-on training in nanocomposite thin film and advanced battery for electric vehicle technology will be highlighted . Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Wednesday 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM (online collaboration).

CLEAN TECH ENGINEER (CCTE)
The Certified Clean Tech Technician (CCTE) is an intensive 13 week certificate program is designed to train a new generation of engineers highly skilled in the design and applications of renewable energy, process engineering and manufacturing of state of the art clean tech processes including: thin film photovoltaics, wind turbines, and nanomaterial batteries used in electric vehicles. The program includes a hands-on lab component covering the practice and design of silicon based photovoltaic systems. Students are expected to participate in field trips visiting solar manufacturing companies.
Prerequisite: a 4 year degree (Bachelor of Art, Sciences or Engineering) or equivalent with at least 5 years of working experience.

The Clean Tech Train theTrainer Program is a unique program offered to engineers, technical managers and professionals who wish to embark on a rewarding career of training others in the clean tech industry.
The training program is 12 weeks, in 2 parts:
Part 1: 8-weeks of intensive training in photovoltaic, thin film nanocomposte technology, wind energy, electric vehicle, advanced battery technology with hands-on workshops teaching techniques and how to become a trainer in the emerging clean tech industries.
Part 2: 4-week practice period enabling participants to give seminars and teach at the institute and other training organizations in the clean tech industries.
Next Training Date: June 18-August 13, 2011 on Saturdays only from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, followed by 4 week of training practice.
Location: at the Clean Tech Institute located in Fremont and at the NASA Ames Research Center.
