Members of the IANT will have the privilege to give a presentation at the Nanotech Joint Venture Network, which will be held in conjunction with the International Congress of Nanotechnology in October 31-November 4, 2005 . Interested members are invited to submit a 300 word executive summary of your organizations activities. If accepted for a table top exhibition, your organization will be included in the conference program with your company profile describing your activities and its objectives in seeking business opportunities with the potential partners.
 
   

Recognizing that the Industry is facing with increasing questions and concern about the potential health risks of nanomaterials, IANT is organizing a Nano Tox Consortium comprising of manufacturing companies, university research centers, independent toxicology laboratories and other interested organizations with the following objectives: (a) to collaborate in conducting toxicological studies on nanomaterials,  (b) to develop an international safety standard  (c) to make available within the Consortium a database of comprehensive toxicological data of all nanomaterials, (d) to develop guidelines for the production and usage of nanomaterials in the industry and (e) to interface with the FDA, EPA and other regulatory agencies regarding on how to regulate the approval, production and usage of nanomaterials to ensure public safety and homeland security and (f) to serve as a  united voice in communicating with any consumer advocate organizations concerning the safety and risk factors of Nanomaterials.

IANT Members are invited to participate in the discussion as well as serving on various sub committees of the Nano Tox Consortium. For further information, please contact services@ianano.org
