Membership

Membership of the International Association of Nanotechnology (IANT) is open to all persons supporting the purpose of IANT , which is to further research and development in the areas of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Membership benefits include:

• Significant discounts on the registration fees for the International Congress of the Nanotechnology.
• Discount  subscription for the Proceedings of the ICNT
• Discount registration fees for various workshops and seminars
• Discount on books, journals and publications published by the Association and our partners.
• Free subscription to the Nanotech Newsletter.
• Free participation to Job Fair at the ICNT Meeting
• Discount airfare and hotel room rates for the ICNT meeting
• Network opportunity at various meetings of the Association
• Opportunity to serve as a committee member and in various management/governing positions of the Association.

Once you have become a member of the Association, you are invited to get involved in various volunteer services such as speaking at the conference, conducting a workshop, organizing a local chapter, or serving as an Ambassador for the Association at your workplace etc. Your time and talents are needed for the service of the Nanotech Community.

Annual individual membership dues are as follows:

• US$295 for Industry Membership
• US$245 for Government or Non-profit Organization Membership
• US$195 for Academic Membership
• US$55 for a Retired Professional Membership
• US$45 for Student Membership
• US$25.00 for Special Student Membership (from a developing country)

Annual Corporate membership fees are US$995 for small and medium size company (up to $20 million in revenue), US$2,995 for large corporation. Additional individual membership affiliated with Corporate Membership is US$250.

Corporate Gold membership ($2,995.00) is entitled to have up to twelve (12) individual designated members. Corporate Silver Membership ($1,595.00) is entitled to have up to six (6) individual designated members. Regular Corporate Membership ($995.00) is entitled to four individual designate members. Each  designated member of a Corporate Member can sign up at the Corporate Membership web site.

Full-time students may become members provided that they include with their application form one of the following:

• a letter certifying their status, signed by a faculty member of their institution, or
• a photocopy of their student identification card.

You can also print out a Membership Form, and mail it with your payment to the address on the form. Payments may be made in one of three forms:

• A check drawn on a U.S. bank,
• Wire transfer
• Visa, Master Card, or American Express.
